- According to Circular 01 of 2016, Paragraph 3.4, Completed applications must be submitted to the nearest District Field Office of the Ministry any time between the closure of the previous school term or university semester and fourteen days after opening of the next term/semester.
- Applicants are required to submit a fresh application for support for every school term or college semester.
- Every Application must be accompanied by the following documents (Paragraph 3.5):
- Certified copy of the student’s long Birth
- Certified copy of the Primary Beneficiary’s Liberation War Veterans Identity Card
- Certified copy of Marriage Certificate
- Certified Copy of National identity Card or Passport
- Certified copy of the authentic school report or transcript from the previous level of study attained.
- Official receipt of the last payment made by the Ministry for the student
- Official Bank Statement of the primary beneficiary if deceased, the surviving spouse if deceased the dependent.
- The Receiving Officer must see the original copies of all certified documents and return them to the applicant (Paragraph 3.6 & 3.7).
- All applications are to be traceable through a system of registers to be opened and maintained at every stage of processing. (Paragraph 3.8)
